Pro Plan is great value!

I just got the Pro Plan and I am really happy with it! The amount of features included is fantastic. I immediately set up Peer-to-Peer Fundraising and integrated Mailchimp for GiveWP, which was super straightforward. The support documentation helped me out with a couple of questions I had, too. It's making a huge difference for our fundraising efforts, and I'll definitely recommend it to others. We will be shopping again when our subscription is up!

Good for simple donations

I used GiveWP to set up a basic donation form on my website. It was pretty easy to get going, just a few clicks and it was live. My friends said it looked clean too. No drama, which is always nice.

Saved money on the Plus Plan

I was looking for a good deal and snagged the Plus Plan during a seasonal sale. The discount was pretty solid, it made the annual cost much more manageable for my budget. I was able to get Recurring Donations and PDF Receipts, which were on my must-have list, without breaking the bank. It felt like a smart purchase and I got a lot of features for what I paid.

Does anyone know if GiveWP takes a cut of the donations? Or is it just the payment processor fees?

W Wendy 2 months ago
Nah, GiveWP itself doesn't take any percentage, which is awesome. Just the usual Stripe/PayPal fees.

Confirmed, no fees from GiveWP directly. That's one of their main selling points, actually.

Is GiveWP actually better than Charitable? I've used Charitable before and it was okay, but looking for something more robust for a new project.

R Renee 2 months ago
GiveWP has way more add-ons and integrations. Charitable is fine for basic stuff, but GiveWP feels more professional for serious fundraising.

I switched from Charitable to GiveWP a couple years ago. The reporting alone is a huge step up. Plus, not paying per transaction fees is a game changer if you get a lot of donations.

I'm a non-profit. Is there a special discount for us? Or do we just wait for seasonal sales?

S Sarah 2 months ago
Yep, they definitely have a non-profit discount! You usually have to contact them or there's a specific page for it. Worth checking their site directly.

My organization got a discount. Pretty sure you just need to provide some proof of your non-profit status. It's usually better than the standard sales too, afaik.

hey, anyone know if they do a free trial for the Pro plan features? wanna try out the recurring donations before committing.

I Ivy R. 2 months ago
Nah, they don't do free trials for the premium stuff, I checked. You just gotta buy it.

I think they have a pretty solid refund policy though, so you could probably try it and if it's not what you need, get your money back within 30 days. That's kinda like a trial, right?

thinking about getting the Plus Plan, but I'm worried about renewal costs next year. Does the discount apply again or is it just for the first year?

N Noor Okafor 2 months ago
Usually, the big discounts are just for the first year, like the Black Friday ones. They do sometimes have renewal discounts but they're not always as high.

Yeah, most of their coupons are definitely first-year only. You might get a smaller renewal deal later, but don't count on the same huge percentage off.
